Synopsis:
Betrayed by Vesper, the woman he loved, 007 fights the urge to make his latest mission personal. Pursuing his determination to uncover the truth, James Bond and M interrogate Mr. White who reveals the organization which blackmailed Vesper is far more complex and dangerous than anyone had imagined. Forensic intelligence links an Mi6 traitor to a bank account in Haiti where a case of mistaken identity introduces Bond to the beautiful but feisty Camille, a woman who has her own vendetta. Camille leads Bond straight to Dominic Greene, a ruthless business man and major force within the mysterious organization. On a mission that leads him to Austria, Italy and South America, Bond discovers that Greene, conspiring to take total control of one of the world’s most important natural resources, is forging a deal with the exiled General Medrano. Using his associates in the organization, and manipulating his powerful contacts within the CIA and the British government, Greene promises to overthrow the existing regime in a Latin American country, giving the General control of the country in exchange for a seemingly barren piece of land. In a minefield of treachery, murder and deceit, Bond allies with old friends in a battle to uncover the truth. As he gets closer to finding the man responsible for the betrayal of Vesper, 007 must keep one step ahead of the CIA, the terrorists and even M, to unravel Greene’s sinister plan and stop his organization.

Role Models Review
Review by Mr. Sandeep
In the interest of full disclosure: we love Paul Rudd. A lot. Dude seriously makes us laugh.
So we were attracted to Role Models before we even learned that Christopher Mintz-Plasse was also starring in the comedy. Yes, that’s McLovin, folks.
Rudd and Scott star as Danny and Wheeler, a pair of troublemakers that end up being sentenced in court to serve as big brother-type dudes in a program called “Sturdy Wings.” After this takes place, though, Danny and Wheeler almost cease to be the center of the film.
That honor falls to Christopher Mintz-Plasse; yes, that would be McLovin from Superbad. He plays Danny’s little brother Augie Farks and spends his days with a group of like-minded geeks, engaging in live-action role-playing games. In order to stay out of prison, Danny and Wheeler become sucked into his world of pretend chivalry.
The movie gets a bit lost in this universe, which may cause some critics to come down against it.
But we didn’t watch Role Models for plot continuity. We just wanted to laugh. The movie’s trio of stars ensured that we did.

The Weekly In Theatre Focus – “The Haunting of Molly Hartley”
October 29, 2008 by Anand Pandey
Since we’ve already written a piece on “Zack and Miri Make a Porno” regarding their film not being shown in a certain Utah venue, and we didn’t focus on “Saw V” last week, let’s talk a tad about horror this time around. “The Haunting of Molly Hartley” comes from Freestyle Releasing, an indie company offering up previous horrors like Nacho Cerda’s “The Abandoned” and “Penny Dreadful.”
“The Haunting of Molly Hartley” stars Haley Bennett, Chace Crawford, Jake Weber, AnnaLynne McCord, Shannon Marie Woodward, Marin Hinkle, Nina Siemaszko, Josh Stewart and Randy Wayne. The film goes nationwide this weekend and and is helmed by Mickey Lidell, a first-time director who produced varied deliveries including 1999’s “Go” which starred Katie Holmes and Sarah Polley. Most notibly, he is the executive producer of the successful “Everwood” TV series.
How Lidell will fare in his debut is still to be seen. The film does seem to offer a few jitters here and there. Check out the trailer below:
What’s this all about?
In this tale of spell binding suspense, something evil lurks just beneath the lush surfaces of teenaged girl’s private school world – and it holds the rights to her very soul. Now, on the eve of her 18th birthday, Molly Hartley is about to discover the truth of just who, or rather what, it is she is destined to become .
THE HAUNTING OF MOLLY HARTLEY, a horror thriller opening nationwide October 31st, stars some of today’s fastest-rising young talent including Chace Crawford (“Gossip Girl”) Haley Bennett (“Music and Lyrics”), Shannon Marie Woodward (“The Riches”), Shanna Collins (“Swingtown”) and AnnaLynne McCord (“90210 2.0”)) and marks the feature directorial debut of Mickey Liddell, producer of the highly acclaimed TV series “Everwood” and “Jack and Bobby.” The screenplay is by John Travis (the forthcoming “The New Daughter” starring Kevin Costner) and Rebecca Sonnenshine (“American Zombie”). The producers are Liddell and Jennifer Hilton. The film is being released through Freestyle Releasing.

Synopsis: A wintry and rather miserable suburb of Stockholm in the early 1980s. Oskar Eriksson is a very normal and lonely 12-year-old. He undergoes the annoying bullying of his classmates as best he can. Back home, where he lives alone with his mother, he collects newspaper cuttings about serial killers and things like that. On a tree not far from his home, a dead boy is found, who seems to have been ritually murdered. At the same time, Oskar meets Eli, who has moved into an apartment next door together with an older man. Little Eli is lonely as Oskar is, and the two make friends.
